WHY IT EXISTS

Your body doesn’t always switch off when you do

You can turn off the lights, put down your phone and close your eyes — while your body is still carrying the tension of the day.

Most sleep masks solve only one part of that problem:

They make the room dark.

The Somvia Recovery Mask was designed to do more — combining complete darkness with Biocrystal® technology developed around relaxation.

Not just designed to block light. Designed for the moment your body needs to slow down.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

More than light blocking

Inside Somvia is Biocrystal® — a proprietary blend of natural minerals developed around relaxation.

The technology sits inside the mask, close to the body while you rest.

No chargingNo cablesNo setup

Just put it on and let the material do what it was designed to do.

HUMAN TESTING

What happened when people were exposed to Biocrystal®?

Biocrystal® was tested by the BION Institute in a controlled human study with 10 participants and 20 tests.

Each participant was tested with both Biocrystal® and a control material. The study was randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled — meaning neither the participant nor the researcher knew which material was being tested at the time.

Researchers then monitored physical signals linked to stress and relaxation.

Up to 30% shallower breathing

THE MATERIAL

So what is Biocrystal®?

Biocrystal® is a proprietary blend of finely processed natural crystals and minerals, including tourmaline.

The mineral blend is incorporated into a functional layer designed to stay close to the body while you rest.

Natural mineral blend. No electronics. No charging. No setup.

“It appears that the Biocrystal® foam may produce greater relaxation, since heart rate, muscle activity and skin conductance decreased. The results suggest that this product may help produce greater relaxation.”

WHY IT MATTERS

Sleep starts before you fall asleep

For many people, the hardest part isn’t staying asleep. It’s getting out of the day.

What is Biocrystal®?

Biocrystal® is a proprietary blend of finely processed natural crystals and minerals, including tourmaline. In Somvia, the blend is incorporated into an internal material layer that sits close to the body while you rest.

What research supports Biocrystal®?

Biocrystal® technology has been studied in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human testing. Researchers measured physiological signals associated with stress and relaxation and found statistically significant differences between Biocrystal® and control conditions.

Will I feel the mineral layer inside the mask?

No. The Biocrystal® blend is contained inside the mask as part of an internal material layer. You do not come into direct contact with loose minerals or crystals.

Does Somvia need charging or electronics?

No. There are no batteries, cables, apps or electronics. Just put the mask on and use it like a normal sleep mask.

How do I care for the mask?

Follow the care instructions supplied with the mask. Because Somvia contains an internal functional layer, avoid harsh washing or high heat.

Better materials.
Better rest.
